Who Is Titus Group?
Titus Group develops residential homes in New Zealand’s major cities, focusing on Christchurch and Auckland.
We select our sites with care, targeting central suburbs that are under-densified and are popular because of their access to lifestyle and employment opportunities. Our homes are affordable (typically selling for $550,000 to $750,000 in Christchurch, and $750,000 to $1,000,000 in Auckland) to maximise the potential pool of available purchasers. Our sites are generally flat, to minimise construction cost risk.
We offer a very competitive 10% return on investment per annum.
Location
We target suburbs in Auckland and Christchurch that are popular, and position our product at an affordable price relative to median house values and income ratios.
As an example, our current development at 52 Rutland Road, Mt Wellington, Auckland has homes selling for an average of $835,000.
According to REINZ, the median house price in Auckland as at Q2 2022 was $1.156m, so our homes are being sold 28% below the median value.
Affordability is important to maximise our pool of potential purchasers.
Portfolio
We have a portfolio of 6 projects at various stages of completion, comprising 59 townhouses. Of the homes in the construction phase, 100% are unconditionally pre-sold.
The programme for each Development is typically 9 - 12 months from the time of breaking ground to settlement of the homes.
All Titus Group homes are designed based on industry leading urban design principles, including orientation for maximum solar passive gain, north facing ground floor living and maximising outdoor areas. Our homes are typically 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom with open off-street parking. We use low maintenance, naturally durable materials, that are industry standard and sourced from local suppliers.
